The committee’s no-objection for a member’s action that touches the society — selling the flat, renovation, renting out — usually with the dues position stated, because that is what banks and buyers actually want to know.
- Choose the dues line honestly; a false "no dues" NOC binds the society awkwardly later.
- Scope the purpose narrowly ("interior renovation of flat 3B") — open-ended NOCs invite misuse.

Can a society refuse an NOC for sale?
